After a 2.20 million-unit 2025, Kalshi prices Ford’s chance of finishing 2026 Above 2 million U.S. vehicles near 63% — the contested rung on a nested sales ladder that treats lower thresholds as near locks.
You’re betting on Ford’s full-year 2026 U.S. vehicle sales against nested “Above” thresholds. A stronger year can clear several rungs at once. Put $100 on Above 2 million at 66% and you get about $148 back if Ford reports more than 2,000,000 U.S. sales.
| Your bet | Chance | Wins if… | $100 bet pays |
|---|---|---|---|
| Above 2 million | 66% | 2026 U.S. sales > 2,000,000 | ~$148 |
| Above 2.05 million | 61% | 2026 U.S. sales > 2,050,000 | ~$160 |
| Above 2.1 million | 47% | 2026 U.S. sales > 2,100,000 | ~$206 |
| Above 2.15 million | 35% | 2026 U.S. sales > 2,150,000 | ~$274 |
| Above 2.2 million | 21% | 2026 U.S. sales > 2,200,000 | ~$452 |
Easier clears such as Above 1.8 million through Above 1.95 million are already priced near certain on this pull. Only the thresholds Ford actually clears get paid.
The case for Above 2 million. Ford’s own year-end note put 2025 U.S. sales at 2,204,124 vehicles, up 6.0% and the company’s best year this decade, with F-Series still the volume engine. A StockTitan summary of Ford’s Q2 2026 update put first-half 2026 U.S. sales at 1,006,515 even after a weaker second quarter. That pace still supports a full-year clear of 2 million if the second half does not fall apart. The 63% price is the market saying that clear is more likely than not, while still leaving clear room for a soft finish to miss the rung.
The case for Above 2.05 million. At about 52% on the bid, this is the next contested step. It asks for a year closer to a modest gain over a clean 2 million floor without requiring a full repeat of 2025’s 2.20 million print. The wide ask on some higher rungs shows how thin the tape is day to day even when the lifetime ladder has already been traded.
The rest of the ladder. Above 2.1 million through Above 2.2 million price a year that looks more like 2025. Above 2.2 million at roughly 21% on the ask is the “match last year” idea. Easier 1.8–1.95 million rungs are background now.
Nested sales ladders compress into one question at the first rung that is not a lock. Here that rung is 2 million. The seven-day path from 67% to 63% is a mild fade, not a collapse.
The useful precedent is the 2025 print itself. Ford cleared 2.20 million after reporting 2.08 million in 2024, per the company’s full-year release. That jump is why traders still give real weight to the 2.1–2.2 million area — and why a 63% chance on merely clearing 2 million is the cautious center of the board after a softer Q2.
3 reasons the 63% Above 2 million chance can still move:
Ford’s remaining 2026 quarterly U.S. sales releases. F-Series and hybrid volumes. Any full-year guidance language that re-centers the 2.0–2.2 million band.
